About Kesgrave

Kesgrave is a small town in Suffolk, half way between Woodbridge and Ipswich. The town has its roots in ancient times as it was recorded as far back as 1086 in the Domesday Book, when it was named Gressgrava. It became known as Kesgrave by the late 15th century and it remained a small settlement until the 20th century. Kesgrave parish council officially adopted the title of a town in January 2000.

If you are moving to the town with children, Kesgrave has three primary schools in its catchment area: Heath Primary, Gorseland Primary and Cedarwood Primary. It also has an excellent secondary school, Kesgrave High.?
